Graduate Student Travel
The Graduate Student Travel Committee has the primary purpose of making financial travel awards to our students presenting at and participating in conferences and workshops, both nationally and internationally.
We are extremely fortunate that the Department and Graduate School allocate annual funding to help us achieve this goal. With this financial support, our students are able to take advantage of diverse professional development opportunities that would otherwise be too expensive. As a committee, we have developed a series of guidelines and funding priorities to adjudicate the award process based on two specific aims: to maximize the productivity of our students, and to facilitate networking opportunities that aid the job search process.
