Congratulations to Sociology Undergraduate Student Awaly Diallo On Receiving the Stand Up Award!

The 2019 Rock Ethics Institute Stand Up Awards Ceremony will be Sunday, April 14, at the Nittany Lion Inn. At the ceremony, we will honor three outstanding undergraduate students at Penn State for their ethical leadership:

  •  Alexandre Bourcier (Biology and Philosophy) for his work providing healthcare to low-income, rural communities
  •  Awaly Diallo (Sociology and African American Studies) for her work investigating and addressing the history of racial violence in the U.S.
  • Rabiyatu Jalloh (Secondary Education and African American Studies) for using art to advance social change
