Memory, Tragedy, and Society – Social Thought Conference 2019

Penn State Social Thought Program will host its annual conference on March 29-30 in Carnegie 113 on the Penn State University Park Campus. Dr. Jeffrey K. Olick, the William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia, an expert in the study of memory and society, will present new research on "Tragic Sociology." Dr. Olick's keynote presentation is at 4:00 p.m on March 29 in Carnegie 113. Penn State faculty and students will present papers related to the conference theme on March 30, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Carnegie 113.
