Aggie Noah (2016)
Dr. Noah received a dual-PhD in sociology and demography from Pennsylvania State University in August 2016. She is assistant professor at School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University. Her research investigates how physical, mental, and social well-being of immigrants and their families are shaped by the intersection of race/ethnicity, class, gender, legal status, and neighborhoods.
Dr. Noah is currently working on research projects investigating how the roles of larger social contexts — particularly legal status and neighborhoods — influence immigrants' post-migration experiences in the United States. She is starting a new research project investigating the role of place in reproductive health of Asian immigrants.
