Professional Bio

Alexander Chapman is a PhD candidate in sociology and demography at the Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include social networks, substance mis/use, and health. Much of his research focuses on links between individual-level behaviors and characteristics and population-level changes in the United States through meso-level considerations like family and social networks. Other research relates substance mis/use and health or wellbeing through social network and family considerations.
