Professional Bio
I am a family sociologist and demographer who studies how people combine personal and family resources to pursue economic wellbeing and stability. In particular, I am interested in how demographic change shapes kin-based resource networks and how resource sharing and transmission within families contributes to individual economic attainment and socioeconomic stratification. Some of my current work includes:
- Examining the role of kinship structures and processes in creating economic stability.
- Contextual factors that moderate associations between education and economic attainment.
