Chris Seto was recently awarded a Russell Sage Dissertation Fellowship (awarded $10,000) for his dissertation, titled. "Epidemic of Racism: Using Big Data to Investigate Ecological Predictors of Anti-Asian Discrimination and Violence During the COVID-19 Pandemic"
At our welcome picnic, we also announced the following awards:

Allison Kurpiel  is the winner of the 2021 Criminology Master's Thesis Award.
Emerson Waite is the winner of the 2022 Criminology Master's Thesis Award.
Alex Chapman is the winner of the Alan Booth Award for an Outstanding Graduate Student.
JP Miller is the winner of the 2021 Huber-Form Master's Thesis Award.
