The Department of Sociology and Criminology is pleased to welcome two new faculty members, Assistant Professor of Sociology Daniel DellaPosta, and Professor of Sociology and Criminology Thomas A. Loughran. Dr. DellaPosta completed his PhD at Cornell University, and his research focuses on social networks in the economic, political, and criminal arenas. Dr. Loughran comes to us from the University of Maryland, and his research focuses on criminal decision-making and deterrence, juvenile justice, and statistical methods.
